The Devil’s Invention is a full-bodied coffee stout brewed with a robust blend of specialty malts and Sump’s True Level coffee. Inspired by an early nickname for coffee, “the bitter invention of Satan,” this beer delivers layers of rich chocolate and smooth, creamy coffee character. Freshly ground coffee beans are infused during fermentation, allowing the coffee to integrate seamlessly into a complex base beer built on pale malt, caramel 60, chocolate malt, roasted barley and Midnight Wheat.
